Sioux Falls is one of the most consistent fast growing cities in the U.S. It constantly ranks within the top 50 for population growth. Part of the reason the city keeps growing year after year is the strong economy and low unemployment. But it's not all business in Sioux Falls. There's over 70 parks with pools, playgrounds, basketball courts, and hiking trails. Thunder Road Family Fun Park offers all the thrills of go-karts, bumper cars, miniature golf, batting cages, and laser tag. The Great Plains Zoo covers a whopping 45 acres housing over 1,000 species.

St. Joseph Cathedral is one of the local treasures. With its spectacular stained glass windows, incredible murals, and tall cathedral ceilings, it's a gorgeous spectacle to behold regardless of your religious background. The cathedral is one of the many remodeling projects that the city has undertaken around town with many more planned in order to continue to revitalize the downtown area.

The Kirby Science Discovery Center is located inside the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science. It offers more than a hundred hands-on exhibits such as tornado physics, rock climbing, and movie-making.

The Sioux Empire Farmers Market is loaded with vendors offering fresh groceries, hand-made rugs, and everything in between.
